A squad of 226 athletes and 45 officials will proudly represent South Africa at this year’s 13th edition of the African Games to be held in Accra, Ghana from 8-23 March.
We are immensely proud to confirm 6 South African Wrestlers were selected to represent Team South Africa in Accra, Ghana. South African Wrestling has a proud history at the African Games, previously known as the All-Africa Games winning several Gold, Silver and Bronze medals over several Games.
This prestigious event is held every 4 years, after being postponed due to financial constraints by the host nation in 2023, so for the first time the Africa Games will fall within the same year as the Olympic Games in 2024.
